Grilled Mustard Beer Shrimp

  Makes 4 servings

 1 lb unpeeled raw shrimp (31-40’s are good)
 ¼ tsp garlic powder
 ¼ tsp ground red pepper
 2 Tablespoons spicy brown mustard 
 2 Tablespoons  beer
 Vegetable cooking spray


1. Peel shrimp and place in medium bowl.  Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl, add the sauce to the shrimp, mix until the shrimp are coated.  Thread shrimp onto 4 skewers. 

2. Coat grill rack with cooking spray and heat grill on medium heat.  Place skewers on rack; grill uncovered, 4 minutes on each side, basting shrimp often with the remaining sauce.

Tip: This can also be sauteed (pan fried) inside in cooler weather.
